The rules that protect every deal
CardBrix is built for collectors to buy, sell and play without nasty surprises. These are the rules that apply to everyone, from the first listing to the last puzzle.
You pay CardBrix, never a stranger
When you buy a listing or win an auction you pay by card directly on CardBrix, through Stripe. The money doesn't go straight to the seller: CardBrix holds it and passes it on once the order is completed.
- Your card details are handled by Stripe: they never go through CardBrix servers.
- The seller gets the item's full price. The 5% fee is paid by the buyer and is already included in the price you see on listings.
- If the parcel doesn't arrive or isn't as described, open a dispute from the order page and CardBrix reviews it.
- Never pay outside CardBrix: bank transfers or "friends and family" payments requested in private are not protected.
Auctions too: the winner pays CardBrix within 48 hours, with the same commission and the same protection as listings. If the seller set a reserve price and it isn't reached, there is no sale. A winner who doesn't pay can't bid for a while.
Your reputation grows with every deal
After every completed order, buyer and seller rate each other with 1 to 5 stars and a comment. Ratings stay on the public profile: the more good deals you make, the more your reputation grows.
- You can only leave a rating after a real order completed on CardBrix: no made-up reviews.
- Nobody can rate themselves, and the profile average updates on its own with every new rating.
- Before buying, open the seller's profile: you see their average, how many ratings they've received and what others wrote.
Every order is tracked to your door
The seller ships with the main carriers and, when handing over the parcel, adds the shipment number to the order. You follow the parcel and confirm delivery when it arrives.
- Cards worth more than €20 can only travel with tracked shipping; for the most valuable lots there is a tracked, insured parcel.
- LEGO sets and Funko Pops travel by courier: BRT, Poste, SDA, DHL or UPS.
- You see the shipping cost before you pay, together with the price.
- If you don't confirm delivery, the order confirms itself a few days after shipment: check the tracking and, if something is wrong, open a dispute right away.
Real prizes, won by skill
In the Skill Zone every challenge puts up a real prize, chosen and provided by CardBrix: rare cards, LEGO sets, collectibles. Whoever completes the puzzle fastest wins.
- It's a contest of skill, not a lottery: there's no random draw, only time counts.
- You enter with credits earned on CardBrix: they can't be bought and can't be turned into money.
- Anti-cheat checks on every game: if you switch tab or app during the puzzle, the attempt doesn't count.
- The prize is free for the winner; shipping the prize is paid by the winner.
Earned by using CardBrix, never bought
Credits are the reward for taking part in the community. They only have value inside CardBrix and are used to enter Skill Zone challenges.
- You earn them by signing up and verifying your email, inviting a friend who joins, and completing a sale or a purchase. Publishing listings doesn't earn credits.
- They can't be bought with money, can't be turned into money and can't be transferred to other users.
- Credits from sales and purchases arrive after a maturation period from confirmed delivery, and only if there are no open disputes, returns or refunds.
- Anti-abuse rules protect everyone: if an order is refunded, the related credits are taken back.
